MUSCAT: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has honored several senior officers of the Royal Oman Police (ROP) by conferring Medals of Royal Commendation, Excellent Service, and Competence. The awards ceremony took place at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences, where Sayyid Khalid Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, had the distinction of pinning the medals on the recipients.
According to Oman News Agency, Sayyid Khalid extended his congratulations to the officers, emphasizing that the Royal commendations are a testament to the tireless efforts put forth by the ROP personnel under the leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. The awards reflect the nation's appreciation of their dedication and service.
The ceremony was attended by prominent figures, including Lt.Gen. Hassan Mohsin Al Shraiqi, Inspector General of Police and Customs, along with Maj.Gen Abdullah Ali Al Harthy, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Operations, and Maj.Gen Khalifa Ali Al Siyabi, Assistant Inspector General of Police and Customs for Administrative and Financial Affairs. Several senior officers of the ROP were also present to witness the recognition of their peers.
