Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has received a written message from Sheikh Mishal Al Ahmed Al Jabir Al Sabah, the Emir of Kuwait, inviting him to attend the 45th GCC Summit scheduled for December in Kuwait. According to Oman News Agency, the message was delivered to Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi during a meeting in Muscat with Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al Yahya, Kuwait's Foreign Minister and Envoy of the Emir. The discussions between the two sides focused on enhancing the bilateral relations in various sectors and addressed regional and international issues of mutual concern. The meeting was attended by Sheikh Ahmed Hashil Al Maskari, Head of the GCC and Regional Neighbourhood Department, Dr. Mohammed Al Hajri, Ambassador of Kuwait to Oman, along with other officials from both countries.
