Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik gave an audience at Al Barakah Palace today to Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting, the guest conveyed greetings and best wishes of King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of Bahrain to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people. In response, His Majesty the Sultan asked him to convey his greetings to the King and people of Bahrain. According to Oman News Agency, the audience reviewed viewpoints on the current regional issues and their gulf and global repercussions. In addition, it discussed means of promoting areas of cooperation and partnership between Oman and Bahrain in various spheres to serve the joint interests. The audience was attended by Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, Ambassador of Bahrain to Oman.
