Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, has issued a Royal pardon to a number of prisoners convicted of different cases. They included 174 citizens and foreign prisoners, according to an official source at the Royal Oman Police (ROP). According to Oman News Agency, the Royal pardon of His Majesty the Supreme Commander coincides with the 54th National Day. It also comes in consideration of families of the prisoners.
