Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of condolences to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, following the death of his brother, Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

According to Oman News Agency, His Majesty the Sultan expressed his heartfelt sympathy in the cable. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the deceased's soul in peace in paradise and to provide Sheikh Mohammed and his family with patience and solace during this time of loss.
