HM The Sultan to Visit Netherlands this Monday


Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will go on a state-visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands this Monday.



According to Oman News Agency, a statement was issued by the Diwan of Royal Court confirming the visit. It reads as follows: ‘Within the context of the advanced relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will go on a state-visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands during 14-16 April 2025.’



The visit is aimed at enhancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest, aligning with the aspirations of both nations. Discussions will also cover regional and international topics of common concern.



His Majesty the Sultan will be accompanied by a high-ranking official delegation. The delegation includes HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Dr. Madeeha bint Ahmed Al Shaibani, Minister of Education, Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority, Eng. Salim bin Nassir Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals and Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Salim Al Harthy, Ambassador of Oman to the Netherlands.
