This applies to employees across various sectors, including the State's Administrative Apparatus, other legal entities, and private sector establishments, in celebration of His Majesty the Sultan's Accession Day.
According to Oman News Agency, the Ministry of Labour has clarified that while the day is officially designated as a holiday, employers retain the flexibility to negotiate with their employees about working on that day if required. In such cases, it is mandated that employees be duly compensated for their work. This provision allows for continuity in essential services while honoring the significance of the occasion.
