Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, held a meeting with the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, His Excellency Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, along with its members, the President of the Bahrain Medical Society, and its Board of Directors, in celebration of Bahraini Doctors' Day. According to Bahrain News Agency, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the pivotal role of Bahraini healthcare professionals in the progress of the health sector. He emphasized their contribution to the Kingdom's overall development, which is steered by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Crown Prince expressed his appreciation for the dedication and ambition of Bahraini doctors, acknowledging their continuous efforts in protecting the health of citizens and advancing the Kingdom's healthcare goals. HRH underscored the necessity of further enhancing Bahrain's healthcare sector through development initiatives aimed a t improving the quality of healthcare services and supporting the professional growth of Bahraini medical practitioners. He lauded the commitment and achievements of Team Bahrain's medical professionals in advancing the field of medicine and scientific research. HRH stressed the importance of creating opportunities to fulfill their professional aspirations. The Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health and the President of the Bahrain Medical Society conveyed their appreciation for HRH's unwavering commitment to the advancement of the Kingdom's health sector and the support provided to Bahraini medical professionals. The meeting was also attended by senior officials.
