Manama, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the State of Qatar, His Excellency Mohammed bin Ali Al Ghatam. HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad highlighted the longstanding relationship between Bahrain and Qatar, which is supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the Amir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. His Royal Highness noted the Kingdom's commitment to further strengthening cooperation between the two countries. His Royal Highness concluded by wishing HE Mohammed bin Ali success in performing his diplomatic duties. For his part, HE Mohammed bin Ali expressed his gratitude for His Royal Highness's support of diplomatic missions abroad, including the diplomatic mission in Qatar, contributing to furthering the Bahrain-Qatar partnership and meeting mutual aspirations.
