Manama, The Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) held the 44th meeting of the Joint Economic Committee. The meeting was chaired by Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, and Sameer Nass, Chairman of BCCI. The minister emphasised Bahrain's commitment to support the commercial and economic sectors, in light of the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The minister emphasised the role of the private sector in supporting the GDP, noting BCCI's efforts in adopting projects and initiatives that reflect positively on supporting the national economy. He underscored the importance of further strengthening cooperation. The BCCI Chairman emphasised the private sector's role in developing Bahrain's economic growth.
