Manama, Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, received members of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Theatres Union, led by Actor Abdullah Malik. The meeting discussed efforts to enhance cooperation in support of the art and cultural scene in the Kingdom. The minister underscored the role of Bahrain's theatrical movement, rooted in a rich history passed down through generations. Thw minister said that the Bahraini theatre has been a reflecting of the Bahraini identity over the decades, elevated societal awareness, and served as an important platform for artistic and cultural expression. Dr. Al Noaimi commended the union for its contributions to the development of the Kingdom's theatrical movement. He emphasised its efforts in upholding theatre as an important cultural tool and its role in representing the Kingdom's civilisation in both regional and international artistic and cultural fields.
