Gaza - Ma'an - A delegation from the Red Cross paid an inspection visit to the Jerusalem Field Hospital of the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, to see the extent of the work and services provided to the displaced in the Mawasi area of ??Khan Younis and the injured under the current circumstances. The visit included a tour of the hospital's various departments and a discussion of the efforts made to provide healthcare, while the delegation listened to an explanation from the medical staff about the challenges facing the hospital, including the severe shortage of equipment and medical resources necessary to meet the growing needs. The delegation also viewed the integrated operating room that the hospital inaugurated last week, and praised the efforts of the medical staff in dealing with the increasing number of injuries, as part of enhancing the hospital's capabilities to provide integrated health services, as it was equipped with all the necessary equipment to perform surgeries, including anesthesia, resusc itation, and recovery. The Palestine Red Crescent Society's Al-Quds Field Hospital provides a comprehensive range of health services to ensure comprehensive patient care. These services include a 24-hour emergency department, and outpatient clinics specializing in obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, cardiology, and internal medicine. The hospital also includes a hospital section for women and men. In addition, the hospital includes a fully-integrated operating room for performing surgeries, in addition to vital departments such as the laboratory that provides accurate medical tests, the radiology department to diagnose medical conditions, and a fully-integrated pharmacy that provides the necessary medicines, which enhances the hospital's ability to meet complex medical needs and provide integrated health services to the community.
