Manama, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, hailed the decree issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, pardoning 457 inmates in celebration of the Silver Jubilee of His Majesty's Accession. Dr. Shaikha Rana affirmed that the royal decree reflects HM the King's efforts in promoting human rights and developing its legal system with the aim of strengthening societal cohesion, respecting rights, and achieving the desired balance between discipline and the human-social conditions, taking into consideration the Bahraini culture and unity. The Director General of the Institute of Public Administration commended the continuous efforts made by the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, in implementing the initiatives that promote human rights as established national constants. She n oted the continuous development of the human rights system in Bahrain, which is based on the National Action Charter (NAC), the Kingdom's constitution, and relevant national legislation.
