Manama, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, met with residents of the Northern Governorate, in the presence of Ali Abdulhussain Al Asfoor, Nothern Governor, as part of the ministry's efforts to strengthen community partnership and foster constructive communication with the society. The minister welcomed the attendees and thanked them for participating, highlighting the importance of collective efforts to enhance national unity and cooperation, based on Bahrain's core values and principles. He addressed the regional situation and risks of war, affirming Bahrain's support for peace efforts, in line with His Majesty the King's directives. He noted that Bahrain's security remains stable, with ongoing efforts to maintain civil peace. The minister emphasised the role of civil institutions through contributing to maintaining public security, protecting youth, and preserving national achievements and identity. He also emphasised the importance of joint efforts to ensure security and stability across the country. General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah reiterated the need for national responsibility in upholding security, law, and public order, guided by the royal vision and the government's services in health, education, housing, and more.
