Manama, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, received Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, in the presence of the Interior Ministry's Undersecretary. The two ministers reviewed areas of cooperation in implementing current and future projects of the National Human Rights Plan, including the alternative sentencing project and the open prisons programme, in collaboration with the authorities concerned with human rights, which would contribute to strengthening Bahrain's position in promoting human rights.
