Muscat: An international workshop kicked off here today on the Green List of Protected and Conserved Areas Programme. The two-day specialized workshop is organized by the Environment Authority in cooperation with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

According to Oman News Agency, the workshop aims to highlight excellence standards in the nature conservation field by implementing the Green List system which is internationally approved.
