Tehran: President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran, received Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, at the Presidential Headquarters in Tehran today.
According to Oman News Agency, the Minister of Interior conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Pezeshkian and the people of Iran, expressing hopes for their continued progress and prosperity.
In reply, President Pezeshkian asked the Minister to convey his heartfelt greetings and respect to His Majesty the Sultan, along with wishes for wellbeing and advancement for the Omani people.
The meeting highlighted the bilateral relations between Oman and Iran, exploring ways to strengthen cooperation across different domains for mutual benefits.
The meeting was attended by Maj.Gen Abdullah bin Ali Al Harthy and Sheikh Ahmed bin Hashel Al-Maskari from the Omani side, while the Iranian side was represented by Eskandar Momeni.
