Jerusalem - Ma'an - Head of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Dr. Raed Radwan, received today in his office in Ramallah a delegation from the Jerusalem Water Authority, represented by the Director General Abdul Khaliq Al-Karmi, Board Member Hekmat Sami, and the Authority's legal advisors, lawyer Muhannad Assaf, Duha Abu Jaber, Ali Al-Bazzar, and Public Relations and Media Director Fares Al-Maliki. During the meeting, Dr. Radwan stressed the great and important role played by the Jerusalem Water Authority, especially in light of the difficult and exceptional circumstances that the country is going through, stressing the importance of enhancing cooperation to enable it to carry out its national duty and fulfill its mission, and to work together to reduce the violations that harm the Authority, its management and its employees. . Dr. Radwan also stressed that water is a national and political issue first and foremost, and that work must be done in coordination and cooperation between the relevant parties, and t hat the occupation is the first and last responsible for the water crises we are going through, and the compass must not be moved and directed in the wrong direction. For his part, Al-Karmi stressed the importance of strengthening the relationship and cooperation with the Anti-Corruption Commission, and that this national institution should support the Authority in carrying out its mission, role and employees, pointing out that the Authority has endured a lot this year and worked with dedication and under very difficult circumstances to alleviate the water crisis on citizens. Al-Karmi also thanked Dr. Radwan for the meeting, stressing that the Authority is putting all its capabilities into providing its services and ensuring that sufficient water reaches all communities in the concession areas. During the meeting, the two parties discussed many issues of interest, and agreed to continue coordination and communication between them in a way that serves and enhances the services provided by the Authority to c itizens.
