London: England midfielder Jordan Henderson has completed his free-transfer switch to Brentford. The former Liverpool title-winning captain, aged 35, has agreed to a two-year contract with the west London club. According to Oman News Agency, new Bees boss Keith Andrews sought Henderson's experience after the departure of Danish midfielder Christian Norgaard to Arsenal. Henderson, who boasts 84 England caps and was recently recalled by Three Lions manager Thomas Tuchel, was available as a free agent following his departure from Ajax in the summer. Henderson's storied career includes 12 years at Liverpool, where he was instrumental in securing numerous titles before his stint in Saudi Arabia with Al-Ettifaq in 2023. His move to Brentford marks a significant addition to the team's midfield strength as they look to bolster their options for the upcoming season.
