Manama, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maawda, the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments, expressed his gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for honouring national achievers, including the winners of the 28th Bahrain Holy Quran Grand Prize and international Quranic competitions for 2022-2024. The minister said His Majesty's speech during the event had brought great joy and pride to the honoured Quran memorisers. He emphasised the special care and attention they receive from His Majesty, as well as the ongoing support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Minister Al Maawda also expressed pride in Bahrain's continuous success in international Quranic competitions, where Bahraini participants have demonstrated excellence, competing at high levels and securing top positions. The minister praised the efforts of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in supporting Quran memorisers and acknowledged the role of Quranic centres in o rganising continuous activities, particularly for the younger generation. He reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to further enhancing these national achievements by intensifying programmes aimed at preparing and training participants for Quranic competitions at all levels.
