MP Ibrahim Kanaan said from Diman on Thursday, "Our action goes beyond people and personal interests," stressing the "call to meet with all sides over a set of moves" to build a joint future away from rifts and divisions. Kanaan has been to Diman alongside MPs Elias Bou Saab, Alain Aoun, and Simon Abi Ramia. "Our move aims creating a national Christian dynamic that breaks through the stalemate," he said. "The first sought breakthrough is at the presidential level, through a national coalition that we seek to form in order to rescue Lebanon from chaos and deterioration," he said.
