Manama, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), received Brigadier General Dr. Shaikh Fahad bin Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Commander of the Royal Medical Services. His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Vice President of the GSA, Dr. Abdulrahman Sadiq Askar, CEO of the GSA, and Faris Mustafa Al Kooheji, Secretary-General of the BOC attended the meeting. HH Shaikh Khalid praised the continuous development of the Royal Medical Services in health and treatment. He highlighted the close cooperation between the GSA, the BOC, and the Royal Medical Services, aimed at providing enhanced medical services to athletes. HH Shaikh Khalid and Brigadier General Dr. Shaikh Fahad discussed ways to strengthen collaboration between the Royal Medical Services and the sports sector, emphasising the importance of supporting national team players and ensuring the best medical care. On his part, Brigadier General Dr. Shaikh Fahad commended HH Shaikh Khalid's support for the sports sector, which has led to many significant achievements.
