Kuwait city: The Gulf artistic scene lost a towering figure today with the demise of the Kuwaiti actress Hayat Al Fahad, who passed away at the age of 78 following an illness. She left behind an extraordinary legacy of artistic works spanning more than six decades. According to Oman News Agency, the late actress, known as the "Lady of the Gulf Screen," was one of the region's most prominent media icons. She delivered dozens of memorable performances in television, theatre, and cinema, helping to shape a rich Gulf artistic heritage. Al Fahad began her career with the series "The Bu Jassoum Family," later taking the stage in the play "The Victim" and making her film debut in "Bass Ya Bahr." Over the course of her career, she worked alongside some of the Gulf's finest actors, including Abdul Hussain Abdul Redha, Saad Al Farraj, Suaad Abdullah, Ghanem Al Saleh, Khaled Al Nafisi, and Mohammed Al Mansour, remaining a cornerstone of Gulf artistic landscape until her final days.
