Saham: The main building of Saham Vocational College was officially opened today in the Wilayat of Saham, within the Governorate of North Al Batinah. The construction of the facility amounted to RO 450,000.

According to Oman News Agency, Khalid Khalfan Al Maamari, the Director of Saham Vocational College, stated that the main building provides an educational environment catering to the needs of both the college staff and students. The building includes five study halls capable of accommodating a total of 120 trainees, along with three computer labs equipped with modern technical tools.

The college compound further encompasses administrative facilities, including 19 offices for 52 employees. It also offers logistical services, a data centre, a technical support and network security office, a learning resources unit, and two medical clinics.

The opening ceremony featured professional exhibitions showcasing student projects across nine professional disciplines. These disciplines include electronics engineering, electrical power, automotive technology, refrigeration and air conditioning, architecture, wooden crafts engineering, mechanical engineering, welding and metal, and agricultural technologies.
