Maronite Patriarch Bechara Al-Rahi said that Lebanon is experiencing a "real crisis", emphasizing the urgent need to address it by electing a President in accordance with the Constitution. "Truth is a culture that must be acquired. We cannot live apart from the truth in all its aspects and dimensions,' Al-Rahi said in his Sunday sermon. "In Lebanon, we are living a crisis of truth. We must return to it, first by having the Parliament elect a President according to the clear and explicit Constitution. We cannot remain outside the framework of truth, living in falsehood and deceit towards each other, while our nation and its constitutional institutions disintegrate before our eyes. Instead, we must embrace a clear culture of truth, so that we can be honest and reconcile based on it." Source: National news agency - Lebanon
