Nouakchott: The 13th Joint Grand Committee of Cooperation between Mauritania and Senegal concluded with the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoU) in various domains. The agreements were signed by Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation, and Mauritanians Abroad of Mauritania, and Yacine Fall, Foreign Minister of Senegal. According to Bahrain News Agency, these agreements included a draft framework agreement for cooperation in the domain of digital transformation, innovation and modernization of administration, trade, information, media, public service, sports, conditions of entry and residence for persons and property, and air services. The ambassadors of the two countries also signed a MoU in the domain of combating human trafficking, a cooperation program in higher education, scientific research and innovation, reproduction, and animal health.
