Muscat: The Medical City for Military and Security Services organized a ‘Public Health’ seminar today, under the auspices of Brigadier Abdulmalik Suleiman Al Kharousi, Assistant Chairman of the Medical City for Supplies and Support Affairs.
According to Oman News Agency, the seminar took place at the Medical City Hospital for Military and Security Services in Muscat and included a visual presentation emphasizing the significance of public health topics. The program featured multiple lectures on public health importance, chronic disease reduction, and managing occupational burnout. Additionally, an exhibition accompanied the symposium.
The event aims to address non-communicable diseases, identified as major health challenges with significant economic implications due to their impact on individuals, communities, and national economies.
