Muscat: The Social Protection Fund, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, organized the 'Medical Insurance Conference'. The two-day conference will highlight prominent practices in the medical insurance sector and means of enhancing cooperation among various parties to enhance the quality of the medical services offered in the Sultanate of Oman. Several discussion panels and workshops are held during the conference to explore means of developing the health system in Oman and to boost financial sustainability in this field.
According to Oman News Agency, many experts from international organizations are taking part in the event, such as from the World Bank, the World Health Organization, and the International Labour Organization.
