Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Friday stressed that "Lebanon's joining the Middle East Green Initiative spearheaded by the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, is a crucial step for Lebanon, especially that the southern Lebanese towns and villages have been massively damaged at the environmental and agricultural levels. His remarks came during his meeting at the Grand Serail with Caretaker Ministers of Agriculture and Environment, Abbas Hajj Hassan and Nasser Yassin.
