Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Wednesday received a phone call from the President of Iraq, Abdul Latif Rashid, who expressed solidarity with Lebanon following a deadly pager attack on Lebanon. "Iraq puts all its capacities at the service of Lebanon to overcome (the attack), he said. Mikati also received a phone call from Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan, who stressed solidarity with Lebanon and his country's readiness to help Lebanon overcome the current ordeal. In a statement, Mikati thanked all the states that expressed solidarity with Lebanon, namely Jordan, Iraq, Turkey, Egypt, Syria and Iran. He also heaped praise on the national unity that prevailed in the wake of the deadly attack. "This unity is the strongest response to the Israeli aggression on Lebanon and its people," he said.
