Caretaker Prime Minister, Najib Mikati, on Friday received UNRWA Commissioner-General, Philippe Lazzarini, along with a delegation, at the Grand Serail. Mikati also met with UNDP Resident Representative, Blerta Aliko, who updated him on UNDP projects aimed at supporting Lebanese state institutions during the current crisis. Additionally, the Dutch Prime Minister, Dick Schoof, contacted Mikati, expressing the Netherlands' support for Lebanon and stressing the importance of diplomatic solutions to protect civilians and halt the ongoing destruction in the country.
