Muscat: The Military Technological College (MTC) today celebrated the opening of several technical laboratories. The ceremony was held under the auspices of Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Military Technological College.

According to Oman News Agency, the event was part of the ongoing modernization and development of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) during the reign of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander. It was aimed at upgrading the college’s educational system.

The chief guest received a briefing on the stages of establishment of the technical laboratories at the college. The project aligns with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 and aims to introduce new academic disciplines in fields such as environment-friendly energy, artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things, and cybersecurity.
