Caretaker Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Abbas Al-Halabi, on Tuesday announced that "due to the continued circumstances that necessitated the closure of educational, vocational and university institutions in specific areas, and the suspension of classes in other areas, the closure of public and private schools, high schools, institutes and vocational schools is extended until the end of this week in the governorates of the South, Nabatieh, Bekaa, Baalbek-Hermel and the Beirut southern suburb. The suspension of classes is also extended in the governorates of Beirut, Mount Lebanon, the North and Akkar, including the Lebanese University and private higher education institutions in all Lebanese regions until the end of this week. The Minister called on educational and university institutions' administrations to follow up on the Ministry's statements in this regard. Source: National news agency - Lebanon
