Nablus Ma'an - An-Najah National University today received the Minister of Education and Higher Education, Dr. Amjad Barham, and his accompanying delegation on an official visit to view the latest developments at the university. Barham met with the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of An-Najah National University, Prof. Rami Al-Hamdallah, and discussed several academic and research issues aimed at developing higher education in Palestine in light of the current challenges. The Minister's visit included an inspection tour of the new building of the University's Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery Clinics, where the Minister was briefed on the advanced equipment and clinics equipped with the latest technologies in which students are trained. Barham expressed his admiration for the great progress achieved by the university, and its provision of an integrated educational environment that meets the needs of students and global competition, as well as its continuous investment in its students, staff and in frastructure. The Minister stressed the importance of continued cooperation between the Ministry and An-Najah National University to ensure the provision of the best levels of education and services to students. For his part, the University President, Prof. Dr. Abdul Nasser Zaid, expressed his thanks and appreciation to Minister Barham and his delegation for their important visit. Zaid stressed the university's commitment to continue working hard to advance the educational process, and to enhance partnership and follow-up with the ministry and all concerned parties for the benefit of students and their development, in line with the requirements and needs of the local and global labor market.
