Major General Hab Al-Reeh welcomed the new Canadian representative, wishing him success in his mission, and expressing the ministry's aspirations for cooperation between the two countries on issues of common interest. In turn, Datels expressed his country's readiness to support joint projects with the Palestinian National Authority, and expressed his country's commitment to continue working with the international community to advance peace in the region.
