Doha, Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, attended the 28th meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Posts and Telecommunications of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) held in Qatar. The meeting reviewed the implementation of decisions from the previous twenty-seventh meeting and discussed the outcomes of the thirtieth meeting of the Committee of Undersecretaries of Communications and Post, which took place last September in Doha. The General Secretariat of the GCC presented the meeting agenda along with the recommendations from the Undersecretaries Committee and various working groups for the Ministers' approval. These recommendations included significant topics intended to strengthen integration and cooperation among GCC countries in the fields of communications and postal services. Proposals included improving digital infrastructure, developing joint policies to reduce service costs among GCC countries, and initiatives for cooperation in space, communication s, and postal services.
