Manama, Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour, received a delegation from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) advisory mission. Shaikh Khakifa briefed the delegation on the most prominent labour achievements made by the Kingdom of Bahrain in the areas of organising and developing the labour market, and its efforts to upgrade national labour legislation following international labour standards, and to protect workers' rights and provide them with a safe work environment. The meeting discussed the latest developments in implementing national initiatives aimed at sustaining the growth and stability of the labour market, encouraging investments that enhance the national economy and generate quality jobs that attract citizens.
