New York, Ambassador Fatima Abdullah Al Dhaen, the Director General of International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met with Shamala Kandiah Thompson, the Chief Operating Officer at the Security Council Report (SCR), on the sidelines of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Al Dhaen highlighted Bahrain's commitment to enhancing its diplomatic capabilities and leveraging the programmes provided by the SCR in monitoring, documentation, and specialised reporting. These efforts aim to support preventive diplomacy in mitigating international conflicts and promoting global peace.
