The Public Health Ministry's Emergency Operations Center announced in a statement on Monday that two paramedics from the Civil Defense - Al-Risala Scouts were slightly injured when the Israeli enemy targeted their team with a mortar shell while its members were performing their humanitarian duty to inspect the effects of the raid that the enemy had launched on the town of Tayr Harfa. The two injured paramedics were transferred to a nearby hospital to receive the necessary medical treatment. In this context, the Ministry of Public Health condemned "the insistence of the Israeli enemy on targeting the Civil Defense teams while carrying out their humanitarian duty, despite the fact that international law and customs followed in wars prohibit and criminalize such attacks." The Ministry renewed its call on the international community and international health organizations to "take a clear position denouncing this aggression that hinders urgent humanitarian health tasks."
