Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) index today closed at 5,072.81 points, dropping 5.4 points, or 0.11%, compared to the last trading session's close of 5,078.18 points. The trading value reached RO 16,270,135, decreasing by 24.9% compared to the last session's value of RO 21,660,598.

According to Oman News Agency, the MSX report indicated that the market value went down by 0.223% from the last trading day, reaching approximately RO 29.86 billion. The value of shares purchased by non-Omani investors reached RO 1,797,000, constituting 11.05% of the total, while the value of their sales amounted to RO 1,503,000, or 9.24%. Consequently, the net investment by non-Omanis increased by RO 295,000, or 1.81%.
