Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index today closed lower by 0.33 percent, settling at 4,520.41 points, down by 14.8 points compared to the previous trading session's close of 4,535.16 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value reached RO 15,032,224, marking an increase of 28.3 percent compared to the last session's RO 11,719,893. Despite the index decline, the market capitalization rose by 0.412 percent from the previous trading day, reaching approximately RO 28.24 billion.

Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 1,214,000, accounting for 8.08 percent of total trading, while their sales amounted to RO 393,000, representing 2.61 percent. The net investment by non-Omani investors increased by RO 821,000, or 5.46 percent.
