Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange "MSX 30" index today closed at 7,644.45 points, marking a gain of 6.9 points, or 0.09 percent, from the previous session's close of 7,637.53 points.
According to Oman News Agency, the trading value for this session stood at RO 37,532,063, which is a significant decline of 60.8 percent compared to RO 95,660,075 recorded in the last session. Despite the drop in trading value, the market capitalization saw a slight increase of 0.096 percent from the previous trading day, reaching approximately RO 38.29 billion.
Non-Omani investors were active in the market, with purchases amounting to RO 3.150 million, accounting for 8.39 percent of the total trading value. However, their sales reached RO 6.088 million, or 16.22 percent of the trading value, resulting in a net decrease in non-Omani investment by RO 2.938 million, or 7.83 percent.
