MSX Declines 46 Points

Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index today closed at 4,718.56 points, marking a decline of 46 points (0.98%) from the previous session's close of 4,765.18 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value increased to RO 33,386,497, reflecting a 52% rise compared to the last session's RO 21,961,562. Despite the increased trading activity, the MSX report indicated that market value saw a decrease of 0.591%, settling at approximately RO 28.82 billion.

Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 578,000, accounting for 1.73% of the total trading volume. On the other hand, sales by foreign investors reached RO 1,325,000, representing 3.97% of the total trading volume. As a result, net foreign investment decreased by RO 747,000, a 2.24% drop.
