Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) today gained 19.9 points, comprising a rise by 0.45% to close at 4408.33 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4388.43 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value today stood at RO 4,966,732, comprising a drop by 12.5%, compared to the last session, which stood at RO 5,678,515. The report released by MSX pointed out that the market value went up by 0.198% to reach about RO 27.71 billion.

The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 522,000, comprising 10.50%. The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 866,000, comprising 17.44%. The net non-Omani investment decreased by 6.94% to RO 345,000.
