Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index today closed at 4,743.23 points, marking a rise of 68.8 points (1.47%) from the previous session's close of 4,674.40 points.

According to Oman News Agency, the trading value increased to RO 25,312,955, reflecting an 11.2% drop compared to the last session's RO 28,509,800. The MSX report indicated that market value saw an increase of 0.704%, settling at approximately RO 28.97 billion.

Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 1,061,000, which accounted for 4.19% of the total trading volume, while sales by foreign investors reached RO 1,108,000, representing 4.38%. Net foreign investment decreased by RO 47 thousand, equating to 0.19%.
