Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) today gained 8.5 points, comprising a rise by 0.18% to close at 4714.33 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 4705.83 points. According to Oman News Agency, the trading value today stood at RO 10,467,210, marking an increase of 12.7% compared to the last session, which stood at RO 9,284,077. The report released by MSX indicated that the market value decreased by 0.099% to reach approximately RO 27.52 billion. The report further added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 389,000, comprising 3.72% of the total. Conversely, the value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 1,374,000, comprising 13.13% of the total. Consequently, the net non-Omani investment went down by 9.41% to RO 985,000.
