Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) general index (30) experienced a slight increase, gaining 5.1 points, which translates to a rise of 0.11%. The index closed at 4457.34 points, compared to the previous session's 4452.25 points. According to Oman News Agency, the trading value for the day was recorded at RO 9,723,842, marking a significant rise of 57.2% from the last session's value of RO 6,184,916. The MSX report highlighted that the market value saw an uptick of 0.098%, reaching approximately RO 27.77 billion. The report further detailed the involvement of non-Omani investors, noting that the value of shares purchased by them amounted to RO 841,000, making up 8.65% of the trading value. Conversely, the shares sold by non-Omani investors totaled RO 1,374,000, comprising 14.13%. This activity resulted in a decrease of 5.48% in net non-Omani investment, now standing at RO 533,000.
