Muscat:The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed trading today at 7,566.82 points, marking an increase of 31.7 points or 0.42 percent compared to the previous session, which had settled at the same closing figure.
According to Oman News Agency, the trading value on the exchange reached RO 66,481,629, which is a 6.9 percent increase from the previous session's value of RO 62,218,771.
The report from the Muscat Stock Exchange also highlighted that market capitalization saw a modest rise of 0.051 percent, reaching roughly RO 39.25 billion.
Additionally, non-Omani purchases on the exchange amounted to RO 8,914,000, accounting for 13.41 percent of total trading, whereas non-Omani sales were recorded at RO 9,467,000, or 14.24 percent. This led to a net decline in non-Omani investment by RO 552,000, or 0.83 percent.
