National Center for Financial Information Signs MoU with Malaysia’s Financial Intelligence Unit

Baku: The National Center for Financial Information today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Malaysia's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) on the sidelines of Egmont Group's plenary meeting held in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan. According to Oman News Agency, the MoU aims to coordinate efforts in exchanging information and experiences and exploring the best practices in the field of combating money laundering, terrorism financing, and the proliferation of weapons. The agreement signifies a collaborative step between the two organizations in addressing these critical issues on an international scale. The MoU was signed by Col. Juma Matar Al Dhuhli, CEO of the National Center for Financial Information, marking an important milestone in enhancing bilateral cooperation in financial intelligence and security.
