National Youth Tennis Team Completes Successful Training Camp in Cairo

Muscat: The Omani national youth tennis team concluded its external training camp at Smash Academy in Cairo. This initiative is part of the association's strategy to bolster the skills of national team players, with a particular focus on the under-14, under-10, and under-16 categories. According to Oman News Agency, the training camp saw the participation of 13 male and female players. This marks the second consecutive year that the camp has successfully met its objectives of preparing the national team for upcoming external competitions. Ahmed Al Balushi, head of the delegation, emphasized the success of the camp, noting that it achieved its technical goals by enhancing the players' performance levels. The camp also included mental and nutrition lectures. Players engaged in friendly matches with peers from Smash Academy and other academies, benefiting greatly from intensive training sessions led by specialized coaches. Al Balushi expressed optimism that the program will help national team players secure be tter results in international competitions and improve their global rankings.
